Calculator and tool policy

Our calculators are illustrations built on the assumptions you enter. They are estimates, not forecasts, quotes or advice.

What our calculators are

Every calculator, simulator, scorecard and planner on Let Money Grow is a teaching tool. It takes the numbers and assumptions you enter and shows you what they imply, so you can see how the moving parts relate to each other.

They are illustrations. They are not forecasts, quotes, appraisals, valuations, offers, tax computations, or advice of any kind.

Results depend entirely on your inputs

A result is only as good as the numbers behind it. Change a rate, a term, a price, a cost or a growth assumption and the answer changes — often dramatically. Where we pre-fill a default, it is a reasonable starting point for teaching, not a recommendation or a market rate.

Compounding, mining, business acquisition, debt, tax and insurance models all simplify reality. Real outcomes are affected by fees, taxes, timing, market conditions, credit terms, downtime, regulation and events nobody models.

Market and third-party data

Where a tool uses market prices or third-party figures, those figures may be delayed, approximate, or unavailable, and we do not guarantee their accuracy. Verify anything you intend to act on with the original source.

No advice, no guarantee

Nothing a tool produces is financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, lending, valuation or brokerage advice, and no result is guaranteed. Using a tool does not create an advisory, fiduciary or client relationship.

Before acting on any figure, check it with your own CPA, attorney, lender or licensed adviser.

Your saved inputs and outputs

Figures you save are stored against your account so you can come back to them. They are yours to edit or delete. See the Data Protection Policy for storage, access and retention.

Results you download or print are licensed to you personally, carry a watermark and a licence stamp, and are covered by the Content Protection Policy.

Errors and changes

We build and test these tools carefully, but models can contain errors and assumptions can go out of date. If you spot something that looks wrong, please tell us through the contact details on this site. We may change, correct or withdraw a tool at any time.
