Disclaimer and risk disclosure

Please read this in full. Everything on Let Money Grow is educational. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, lending, valuation, or brokerage advice.

No professional or advisory relationship

I am not a financial advisor, registered investment adviser, CPA, attorney, tax professional, business advisor, business broker, intermediary, reseller of businesses, lender, or licensed professional offering individualized advice through this platform. I do not represent buyers or sellers, and nothing here should be interpreted as a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or instruction to buy, sell, finance, operate, or invest in any specific business, security, digital asset, insurance product, or financial product.

Using this website, its tools, its calculators, its AI assistant, or its membership content does not create an advisory, fiduciary, professional, brokerage, agency, or client relationship.

Where this experience comes from

I am simply someone who has spent decades operating and transforming businesses, and who has learned about small-business ownership through study, coaches, advisors, conversations with experienced operators, and real family experience owning and operating a few businesses. That experience includes successes, but it also includes significant failures, losses, bad assumptions, difficult operating periods, and lessons that were expensive to learn. Those realities are included because education without the downside gives an incomplete picture of ownership.

Business ownership involves substantial risk

Buying and operating a business involves substantial risk. A business can lose customers, employees, cash flow, financing, or value. Revenue and earnings can decline. Debt obligations may continue even when operating performance deteriorates. Personal guarantees, acquisition debt, seller financing, working-capital needs, taxes, litigation, regulatory issues, and unexpected liabilities can create losses that exceed an investor's initial equity. You can lose some or all of the money you invest and, depending on the structure of a transaction, may have additional obligations.

Financing, valuation, and tax illustrations

SBA financing discussions, down-payment examples, valuation multiples, Seller's Discretionary Earnings (SDE), EBITDA, deal structures, tax concepts, holding-company structures, private-equity exit scenarios, AI opportunities, mining economics, and similar examples on this platform are educational illustrations. Actual lending requirements, eligibility, rates, guarantees, transaction structures, valuations, tax treatment, and outcomes vary by borrower, lender, business, jurisdiction, market conditions, and applicable law. Programs and rules also change over time.

All characters, scenarios, calculations, scorecards, checklists, case studies, listings, and financial examples should be treated as illustrative unless expressly identified otherwise. Narrative examples are designed to teach concepts, not to promise or predict results. Past experience — mine or anyone else's — does not guarantee future performance.

Investing and digital assets

All investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Digital assets and mining operations are highly volatile, can lose their entire value, and carry additional risks including custody failure, fraud, hacking, counterparty insolvency, regulatory change, and permanent loss of access. Nothing on this platform is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, digital asset, or investment product.

Insurance, tax, and legal matters

Insurance policy terms, exclusions, availability, and pricing vary by carrier, state, and applicant. Tax law, contribution limits, deductions, credits, phase-outs, and entity treatment change frequently and vary by jurisdiction and filing status. Nothing here is insurance, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and no coverage, deduction, or outcome is promised.

Third parties and references

Companies, coaches, brokers, lenders, software products, AI tools, marketplaces, professional firms, and other organizations referenced on this platform are included for educational or contextual purposes. A reference does not by itself constitute an endorsement, paid recommendation, sponsorship, certification, or guarantee. You should independently verify credentials, fees, conflicts, licensing requirements, claims, and suitability before engaging any person, company, product, or service.

Business profiles and marketplace entries shown on this site are educational examples used to teach evaluation skills unless a listing is expressly identified as a live, verified opportunity. They are not offers, solicitations, or brokerage services.

Use of AI

The AI assistant on this site, called Monet, produces educational responses that can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. It does not know your full circumstances, does not provide individualized advice, and should never be treated as a substitute for a qualified professional. Verify anything material before acting on it, and avoid entering sensitive personal, financial, or account information into the conversation.

Build your professional team

Before pursuing an acquisition or making a material business or financial decision, assemble qualified professionals who understand your circumstances. Depending on the transaction, that may include a business or M&A attorney, CPA, tax attorney, financial advisor, insurance professional, lender, valuation professional, and industry-specific expert. Perform your own legal, financial, tax, commercial, operational, technology, cybersecurity, human-resources, insurance, and regulatory due diligence.

Accuracy and limitation of liability

Although reasonable care has been taken in preparing this material, information can become outdated and errors or omissions may occur. The author and publisher make no representation or warranty regarding completeness, accuracy, suitability, or future results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author and publisher disclaim liability for losses or damages arising from decisions made in reliance on this material.

Memberships, purchases, and the Foundation

Memberships and digital products sold on this site are purchases of educational services and are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible. Net proceeds are intended to support Hariom Helps Foundation. Donations made to Hariom Helps Foundation are made directly to the Foundation on its own website and are governed by the Foundation's own terms and policies.
